NLCUP, the Network of Latino Credit Unions and Professionals, was incorporated in April 2006 to promote the credit union philosophy within the Latino community.

Membership Qualifications

Individual:
Credit Union professionals and volunteers

Institutional:
Credit Unions serving or planning to serve Latinos

Associates:
Credit union service organizations (CUSOs), State Leagues, Credit Union Foundations or any other organization within the credit union system.

Supporters:
Vendors, organizations outside the credit union system, government agencies, NGOs, etc.

 

A community development credit union (CDCU) is a credit union with a specialized mission of serving low- and moderate-income people and communities.
