NLCUP Board Member | SVP, Chief Impact Officer, Unitus Community CU


Megan joined Unitus in August 2017 and was promoted to Chief Impact Officer in June 2025.  As the Chief Impact Officer at Unitus Community Credit Union, Megan spearheads companywide initiatives that align with the community and strategic goals of the organization. Her efforts include supporting our CUSO partnerships and championing inclusive initiatives, like the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access initiative, the Multicultural Community Initiative, and the Environmental & Sustainability Initiative. Additionally, she oversees the Community Development, Financial Wellness, and Project Management teams.  She also supports strategic Unitus committees like the Project & Agile Steering Committee, the Executive Steering Committee, the CommunityGIVE committee, the Community Advisory Committee, the Transformation Management Office, and the DEIA Employee Committee.

Megan’s background includes 20 years of financial services experience.  Prior to coming to Unitus, Megan held managerial roles at Meryl Lynch, Bank of America, and IBM where she was able to lead teams in their Loan Administration and Vendor Management departments.  These teams included Mortgage Servicing, Loss Mitigation, Vendor Outsourcing, and Bankruptcy.

Megan received her Masters in Management from the University of Alabama and has two undergraduate degrees from the University of Oregon.  She is a Board Member for Business Impact NW, a local non profit supporting small business owners.  Megan is a also a committee member for the local Global Women’s Leadership Network and Inclusiv’ Juntos Avanzamos Selection Committee.
