OUR HISTORY
NLCUP was born from a belief that Latinx professionals belong at every level of the credit union industry, and that community is the most powerful tool for getting them there.
Founded in 2006 by a group of Latinx credit union professionals, we have grown from a small gathering into a thriving national organization. Today, our network spans over 130 member credit unions, state leagues, trade associations, and CUSOs, reaching more than 1,100 professionals and allies nationwide.
We exist to open doors. Through scholarships, mentorship, national events, and deep community outreach, we champion the growth and success of Latinx credit union professionals and the allies who stand with them."
