Mayren is a communications strategist specializing in brand storytelling, digital engagement, and mission-driven marketing. As Marketing and Communications Director for the National Association of Latino Credit Unions and Professionals (NLCUP), she leads the organization's communications strategy, strengthening its brand and helping advance its mission to promote Latinx leadership within the credit union movement.

Prior to joining NLCUP, Mayren developed communications and creative campaigns for nonprofit organizations and political candidates at the local and national levels. Her experience spans strategic messaging, content marketing, graphic design, digital advocacy, and public relations, with a focus on building authentic connections and making complex topics accessible to diverse audiences.

Originally from Tijuana, Mexico, and raised in Ogden, Utah, Mayren is a first-generation college graduate of Weber State University and a DACA recipient. Her personal and professional experiences have shaped a deep commitment to equity, representation, and community-centered storytelling, values that continue to guide her work every day.
