Ejecutivos in the Making is a leadership development program designed for mid-management credit union professionals who are ready to prepare for executive leadership.

The program equips participants with the skills, confidence, and executive-level perspective needed to take the next step in their careers. Through interactive virtual sessions led by experienced credit union executives, participants strengthen their leadership capabilities and gain insight into the strategic decisions that shape successful organizations.

The experience culminates in a one-day executive job shadow with a leader from another credit union, providing participants with a firsthand look at executive leadership in action.

What to Expect

Over the course of the program, participants engage in a structured learning experience that combines executive-led instruction, peer connection, and real-world leadership exposure.

  • Interactive Leadership Sessions: Participate in seven virtual sessions led by experienced credit union executives covering the essential competencies of executive leadership, including strategic thinking, innovation, financial management, change leadership, team development, relationship building, and crisis communication.

  • Executive Job Shadow Experience: After successfully completing the program, participants are paired with a credit union executive from another institution for a one-day job shadow experience. This unique opportunity offers firsthand exposure to executive decision-making, leadership responsibilities, and organizational strategy.

  • Ongoing Community: Celebrate your accomplishments during a virtual graduation ceremony and join a growing network of Ejecutivos in the Making alumni committed to advancing leadership across the credit union movement.
